New projects and songs to start off 2022.

Happy new year everyone, and welcome to the first new music Friday of 2022. With the new year celebrations pretty much over, it’s back to business for yours and our favorite artists.

Today (January 7) we get new projects from The Weeknd and Gunna, including new songs from the likes of 2 Chainz, Gucci Mane, and Cordae.

The Weeknd starts of the year with the follow-up to his 2020 Billboard Chart-topping After Hours album. Gunna also kicks off the new year with the fourth, and final installment of his Drip season series.

This list also features “Million Dollars Worth Of Game” by 2 Chainz and 42 Dugg, “The Heart Part 4” freestyle by Cordae and a new song from Earl Sweatshirt.

The Weeknd “Dawn FM”

The Weeknd returns with his fifth studio album Dawn FM. The Canadian singer transforms into an old man for his latest era, which he describes as a “sonic experience.” The 16-track album, which follows 2020’s After Hours, includes 16-tracks and features guest contributions from Lil Wayne, Tyler, The Creator

Gunna “DS4Ever”

Gunna ushers in drip season with the fourth installment of his popular Drip series. Serving as the final entry in the mixtape series, DS4Ever features a star-studded line up that includes 21 Savage, Lil Baby, Future, Young Thug, G Herbo, Roddy Ricch, Kodak Black and more.

2 Chainz Feat. 42 Dugg “Million Dollars Worth Of Game”

2 Chainz will be dropping his new album “Dope Don’t Sell Itself” later this month. Ahead of its release, the Atlanta rapper connects with Detroit-native 42 Dugg to dish out a million dollars worth of free game. Take notes.

Cordae “FABEV Freestyle”

Cordae takes on Paris in the clip for his freestyle over Kendrick Lamar’s “The Heart Part 4.” The track is in anticipation of his new album “From A Bird’s Eye View” dropping January 14.

Gucci Mane “Fake Friends”
