After a few slight delays Drake finally released his highly anticipated sixth studio album Certified Lover Boy on Friday September 3rd.
Serving as the follow up to 2018’s Scorpion, CLB features collaborations with Jay-Z, Lil Baby, Kid Cudi, Lil Durk, Future, Rick Ross and Lil Wayne.
Road to CLB has been unpredictable but Drizzy officially put the rollout in full effect last week with an announcement of the album’s release date on SportsCenter followed with several Billboard placements scattered strategically across the globe with lyrics from the album and guest appearance hints.
Described by Drake as a “combination of toxic masculinity and acceptance of truth,” the project executive produced by Drizzy, Noah ‘40’ Shebib, Oliver El-Khatib, and Noel Cadastre is dedicated to Nadia Ntuli and Mercedes Morr.
With Certified Lover Boy still in it’s earliest stages of release. Fans are flooding social media with their first impressions of the long-awaited project.
