Playboi Carti Sued By Jeweler For $97K

Playboi Carti is being sued for unpaid royalties according to a new report by TMZ.

Carti reportedly owes Eliantte and Co. $97,063.75, which the company claims is the balance for 2 custom chains the ‘Whole Lotta Red’ rapper ordered back in September 2020.

The documents obtained by TMZ say Elliot Eliantte quickly went to work on a 14-carat white gold diamond rosary chain and a custom diamond tennis chain.

Eliantte claims Playboi Carti paid $100,000 out of the $107,63.75 he was billed but failed to pay off the rest of the balance despite repeated demands.

Jermaine Dupri Responds to Diddy Saying His ‘Arms Too Short’ for ‘Verzuz’ Battle With Him

Diddy hit Jermaine Dupri with a friendly jab after the So So Def founder challenged him to a hit-for-hit following Fat Joe and Ja Rule’s Verzuz battle earlier this week.

“Beloved you my nigga but your arms too short to box with God!!! You aiint got enough hits,” Diddy responded. “I’ll smash you with just biggie n Mary . But I do have the upmost respect on you as a musical legend – Dre the only one can get in the ring w me.”

Hours later JD called out Diddy once again.

“My arms are long enough to do this all day,” Dupri wrote in a TikTok of him making a beat. “What about yours?”

In a recent appearance on Instagram live with Fat Joe and Snoop Dogg, Diddy continued taunting JD.

“Ayo, short arms. You need to chill out short arms. You hear me?” Diddy told Dupri. “Ayo, I love you. First of all, I want the world to know that this is one of my best friends. You know, one of my best inspirations.”

Diddy continued his smack talk on the broadcast.

“What you gon’ do when [Biggie’s] ‘One More Chance’ drops?” he asked, refusing to let Dupri get a word in. “… I’m the greatest. What the fuck y’all talking about? I have the most No. 1s as an artist … I don’t even hear no one play none of your shit. Ayo, when we go back in the club, I don’t hear no one play none of your shit. Ain’t nobody rocking no Kriss Kross shit, or no Bow Wow. I want Dre! Where is Dre? Where is Dre?”
