Black Twitter React To Akon’s Claims That Rich People Struggle More Than The Poor

Akon says Michael K. Williams’ death is an example of how the rich face more difficult challenges than the poor.

Rich people stay wanting to be oppressed. In the wake of Michael K. Williams’ untimely death, Akon spoke to TMZ about his relationship with the late “The Wire” star.

“He was actually a really good friend, amazing person, super funny, super talented. It’s definitely a sad day for everybody.”

The artist also used to moment to talk about the challenges he believes rich people face stating that the rich and famous go through more life threatening struggles than the poor.

“There’s just too many of us going down like that and I think when moments like this happen we all gotta reflect, ’cause we’re all going through things in our lives…and making decisions that actually affect not only us and our life but everyone that surrounds and looks up to us,” he continued. “The famous and the rich go through more issues than the poor. You know when they say ‘More money, more problems,’ that’s a real thing.”

Michael, 54 died over the weekend from a reported drug overdose.
