Mike Dean Denies Rumors That He Has Quit Working On DONDA

Speculation of Mike Dean quitting his role in the creation of DONDA became a source of worry for many Kanye West fans after the legendary producer posted several since deleted tweets that suggested he was done with the “toxic” environment and glad to be back home.

Dean had tweeted “fuck it” and “glad to be back at the house” before letting his thoughts known about how he felt about the album’s rollout.

A Twitter user Ethan J. Castle tweeted, “Mike Dean seems to have done all the best work on it though. this all feels toxic. It definitely isn’t healthy on either party to be stuck in a stadium for weeks. This is the weirdest rollout ever,” Mike Dean seemingly agreed and replied with “Toxic. That’s It.”

The tweets have been deleted.

He also deleted everything to do with DONDA from his Instagram, and cryptically captioned a photo of himself and West performing at Rolling Loud Miami with “Real Friends.”

Many assumed the tweets had to do with his frustration with the DONDA roll out and the uncertainty surrounding the album’s release, but the Grammy Award winning producer has come out to debunk the rumors saying “I haven’t quit anything.” He also updated fans about the album’s status.

“I haven’t quit anything. The album continues. Lol. People read too much into tweets.”

DONDA was originally supposed to come out on July 23rd, and then August 6th.
