Kanye West Accused Of Stealing Upcoming Brand’s Design After Meeting With Them

Infinity G8ds claim they sent Kanye West four pieces of their newest clothing line after the rapper’s chef Willie Wallace requested for some.

Kanye West has been accused by an upcoming clothing brand Infinity G8ds of ripping off their design.

Infinity G8ds claim they sent Kanye West four pieces of their newest clothing line after the rapper’s chef Willie Wallace requested for some.

In a series of post on Tik Tok detailing the events, the brand claim they met up with Kanye West in Atalanta on the 26th of July and he was reportedly interested in the fabric and the creative process behind their designs, but to their surprise the Pablo rapper had incorporated a design that mimics theirs into his Donda merchandise.

“Yesterday, this was released as the official merch for Kanye’s new album!!!!” they captioned the Tik Tok. “He invited him to meet with him and then stole his freakin design minus one element.”

The brand showed that the Infinity G8ds logo is a six-pointed star, with an infinity symbol wrapped around a cross in the middle. Ye’s DONDA merch looks similar, except the rapper took out the infinity symbol and left the cross.

West’s team are yet to respond to the allegations.

Infinity remain positive and say all they want is credit.

“Praise to the highest for humble beginnings love light and peace to all even kanye. All we want is credit Don’t allow hate to fester in your heart because of nobody. We are here to love one another.”

This isn’t the first time Kanye West will be accused of content theft. The polarizing rapper was sued in 2006 by New Jersey group, IOF for allegedly stealing the lyrics and beat to their song “Straight Like That” and using it to create the 2003 hit “Stand Up.”

In 2018 T-Pain (not outrightly) accused him of stealing his beat and using it to create I Love It with Lil Pump.

“I went to work with him in New York and left that beat with his producer. Not saying he snatched but I’m claiming inspiration,” he tweeted.

Kanye West is currently prepping the release of his often delayed album DONDA. The album was originally scheduled to arrive on July 16 but was pushed to August 6. As you’re aware the album didn’t arrive, and it remains unclear when it will.
