Biz Markie Dead at 57

Biz Markie has died at the age of 57. A source close to the family tells TMZ that the legendary rapper passed away in a Baltimore hospital at 6:25 p.m. on Friday night (July 16). His wife, Tara Hall, reportedly held his hand as he took his last breath.

Biz, born Marcel Hall, had been hospitalized for weeks following years of health struggles related to Type II Diabetes.

“We are grateful for the many calls and prayers of support that we have received during this difficult time,” a representative for the rapper told TMZ on Friday. “Biz created a legacy of artistry that will forever be celebrated by his industry peers and his beloved fans whose lives he was able to touch through music, spanning over 35 years. He leaves behind a wife, many family members and close friends who will miss his vibrant personality, constant jokes and frequent banter.”

The harlem native is best known for his 1989 track “Just a Friend,” which peaked at No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100.

IG Model Claims Future Offered Her $5000 For Sex, Future Responds

Future is shutting down rumors that he pays women for sex. In a recent interview with DJ Akademiks, an Instagram model named Blue Jasmine claimed that the “My Collection”rapper offered her $5,000 in exchange for sex.

“So you’re saying that chicks is telling Future like, ‘Yo, it’s $10,000 or whatever to fk?’ And he’s paying that money to fk?’” Akademiks asked Jasmine during their discussion.

To which Jasmine replied “Nah, he offered me $5,000.”

Future caught wind of the conversation and has come out to debunk it. The rapper hit the comment section of one of Hip Hop Ties’ Instagram posts to share his side of the story.

“She big big capping…dnt kno her dnt care to kno her!” Future wrote in the comments. “Why she lying?”

This isn’t the first time Future has found himself in this type of position with an Instagram model.

Back in 2018, a woman posted a fake screenshot of a direct message conversation with Future on Instagram, claiming that he was trying to fly her out for a visit. The post ended up catching Future’s attention and he responded by commenting, “Dats cap.., it was allll a dream!”

“Nice Photoshop, enjoy,” Hndrxx continued. “When u decline thots they make up shit…no fly zone.”
