DMX’s daughter Sonovah Hillman is carrying the torch her father left behind. The late rapper’s 8-year old represented her father at a tribute concert held in his honor on Saturday at the Wildcatter Saloon in Katy, TX.

DMX, born Earl Simmons was set to perform at the venue in late May, but after his untimely death in April, the bar decided to throw a tribute concert in his honor instead. X was represented by his family at the event. His fiancée, Desiree, and their son, Exodus as well as Sonovah and her mother were all in attendance, reports TMZ.

Sonovah took to the stage to perform her own renditions of some of her father’s classic cuts including “Slippin'” and “Ruff Ryders’ Anthem.”

Hillman is becoming quite the superstar. Earlier this year she received plaudits for a tribute song she wrote, and performed at her father’s memorial service in New York.

DMX’s first posthumous album was released on May 28. The album named after his son, Exodus Simmons featured collaborations with the likes of Nas, Jay-Z, The Lox, Alicia Keys, Snoop Dogg, Benny The Butcher, Conway The Machine and more. Despite the album’s star-studded line up, Exodus is projected to sell a disappointing 28-32k copies in its first week, with about 12-14k coming from pure sales.
