Producer, Sir Jinx is suing Ice Cube for unpaid royalties.

Ice Cube has been moving shady according to longtime collaborator, Sir Jinx.

Sir Jinx, who produced most of Ice Cube’s earlier work including songs for his 1990 solo debut album “AmeriKKKa’s Most Wanted,” claims the Friday actor and creator still owes him money for some of the beats he created for him over the years.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Jinx says he produced upward of 28 tracks for Cube including his scathing “No Vaseline,” “True to the Game,” “The Bomb,” “It’s a Man’s World,” “The Funeral,” “Who Got the Camera?” and several more. And that it wasn’t until 2019 that he realized he wasn’t getting his fair share of the profits.

Jinx claims he’s incurred damages worth $100k and that he reached out to Ice Cube’s team to get what’s his, but they never got back to him. He’s now asking a judge to help him get a proper accounting in place, and to award him whatever he deserves according to his contracts.

A source close to Cube feels the books are balanced as Jinx has also failed to payback some of the money the NWA rapper loaned him in the past.
