Big Sean & Snoop Dogg star in new Netflix animated movie ‘Dog Gone Trouble’
Big Sean will be making his acting debut in Netflix’s new animated movie, Dog Gone Trouble. The Detroit rapper voices Trouble, a pampered Dog deeply loved by its owner, Mrs. Sarah Vanderwhoozie.
Snoop Dogg voices an almost insignificant character fashioned after his stage name, Snoop – one of the street dogs Trouble encounters during his misadventures.
Snoop Dogg made his acting debut in 1994 on the film Murder Was The Case. Since then the ‘Doggystyle” rapper has starred in several motion pictures and hosted television shows including I Got The Hook Up, Training Day, Baby Boy, Soul Plane, The Addams Family, South Park, The L Word, The Boondocks and many more.
Big Sean’s role in Dog Gone Trouble is his first acting/voice over gig. The rapper is always in the studio recording new music. He recently teamed up with Sada Baby and Hit-Boy for the song “Little While.”
“Dog Gone Trouble” follows the privileged life of a pampered dog named Trouble, whose life is turned upside-down when he gets lost and must learn to survive on the big-city streets.
The film also stars Pamela Adlon, Damon Wayans Jr., Lucy Hale, and wrestler Colby Lopez.
Dog Gone Trouble is streaming now on Netflix. You can also view the trailer below.
