Twitter Roasts Meek Mill For Distasteful Lyrics About Kobe Bryant

Meek Mill is slowly becoming an L magnet. The Philadelphia rapper was once again a victim of social media backlash after a snippet of an unreleased song surfaced online. On the unknown track, which features Lil Baby, Meek Mill references Kobe Bryant’s fatal helicopter crash.

“This bitch I’m fuckin’ always tell me that she love me but she ain’t ever showed me,” Meek raps in his verse. “Yeah, and if I ever lack, I’m goin’ out with my chopper, it be another Kobe/Shit, I could tell that they ain’t never know me/’Cause if they knew me they would’ve never showed me.”

As expected the lyrics didn’t bring the exciting “oh snap” hip hop moment Meek was going for, but instead was perceived as insensitive and rightly so. Fans quickly checked him on social media, but rather than stay quiet, Meek dug is hole deeper by suggesting the masses are brainwashed. He tweeted, “somebody promo a narrative and y’all follow it…. y’all internet antics cannot stop me ….shit like zombie land or something! Lol”

He added that it’s “almost like mind control.”

Lil Baby also referenced the late Kobe Bryant and showed Meek Mill how it should be done.

“I damn near wanna have a son, so I can name him Kobe/Daughter Gigi, I done beat them odds, I wish lil’ one could see me.”

I don’t know when I’ll be ready to hear a song that references Kobe, but I know it ain’t now & I know that line Meek Mill just dropped ain’t it. Let that man RIP a little longer & the next man who wants to try, work a little harder to ensure that your bar isn’t so disrespectful.

What a corny dummy.

More potential than he realizes, but can’t get his head in a place where he’s not fighting with a clown like 6ix9ine in a parking garage, too.

How many times is Meek gonna self-sabotage?
