Lil Wayne ain’t got time for the haters. Hours after receiving his presidential pardon from former US President Donald Trump, the young Money rapper gets a few things off his chest and references his December 2019 gun charges on his new single featuring newcomer Fousheé.
“The feds, they hot on us, 100 on the thermometer / They raided my private plane, got one that’s more privater,” he raps, later adding, “FBI arrest me, why?”
On Thursday (Jan. 21), Wayne thanked Donald Trump for the pardon, saying he has “much more to give.”
“I want to thank President Trump for recognizing that I have so much more to give to my family, my art and my community,” Weezy wrote on Twitter.
He also thanked his lawyer Bradford Cohen for “working so diligently to secure another chance” for him.
