Pop Smoke was gunned down back in February by 4 masked gunmen after what appeared to be a home invasion robbery at the rental property.
According to law enforcement sources, The NYC rapper was at the Hollywood Hills home at around 4:30 AM when 2 men wearing hoodies and masks broke into the rental pad. They fired multiple shots, striking and critically wounding Pop Smoke before fleeing the scene on foot. Pop Smoke was rushed by ambulance to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in West Hollywood where he was pronounced dead.
19-year-old Corey Walker and 18-year-old Keandre Rodgers, have been charged with the murder of Pop Smoke. On top of those two, a separate pair of teenagers – the youngest being 15 and the oldest 17, were also charged with one count of murder and robbery in juvenile court. Their names weren’t released, as they’re still minors.
Both adult men may face life in prison if convicted.
