The South African artist gives us an in-depth look into his quarantine life. From the kitchen counter, to the stairs, Supa Mega shows off his trade mark dance moves while also passing out an important message: “It’s easy to stay home when you ain’t gotta deal with no domestic abuse,” he raps on the song, which features scratches from Grandmaster Ready D. “Please count your blessings, don’t be complaining about your wife or connection.”
It’s easy to understand how the track is one of our favorite African hip hop songs of 2020 so far.
Monuments featuring Yanga Chief and Grandmaster Ready D will appear on his upcoming album, alongside previously released records Energy and Cross My Heart.
