Kanye West has inked a ten year partnership with Gap to sell a co-branded Yeezy line. The deal was inked yesterday, Thursday, June 25.
The YEEZY designer’s deal with Gap marks the first time the brand’s designs, which typically retail for hundreds of dollars will be offered at a lower cost. The collection will comprise apparel for men, women, and children, and will be available via GAP’s online and physical stores in 2021.
West celebrated the partnership with the hashtag #WestDayEver and shared an image of the Yeezy Gap logo.

Shortly after the reveal, Kim Kardashian celebrated her husband’s new achievement with a message on Twitter.
“If anyone knows Kanye they know how much the Gap and Yeezy means to him so this partnership is his dream come true! I am so proud of him. You guys are going to love what they have in store for everyone! #WestDayEver,” she wrote.

In a 2015 interview with Style.com, West expressed his desire to work with Gap, “One of my dreams was to be the head creative director of the Gap. I’d like to be the Steve Jobs of the Gap “ West said.
