Stoogie T Feat. Lucille Slade "Love And War"

Watch Stoogie T's somber video for "Love And War."

Stoogie T continues to promote his latest EP The Empire Of Sheep. The South African rap veteran returns this week with a contrasting video for "Love And War" featuring Lucille Slade. The collaboration touches on pre-apartheid South Africa and highlights the struggles of their heroes past.

"Love and War' speaks of the strange state of heroism and delinquency. How our heroes who achieve the most magnificent feats spectacularly fail with the simplest things. It is personal, political, triumphant and deprecating," A quote from the video's description on YouTube reads.

The retrospective track is a standout off The Empire Of Sheep, which also features collaborations with Ason, P-Kuttah, Ayanda Jiya and Brittney Crush. Last week Stoogie released a deluxe edition of the project with additional appearances from Nasty C, Nadia Nakai and Boity.
