M.I Abaga Hits Back at Vector's Diss Track With 'The Viper': Listen

Happy birthday M.I.

Took him long enough. M.I finally responds to fellow Nigerian rapper Vector's The Purge freestyle (let's pretend Tetracycling) didn't happen.

On "The Viper," which M.I shared on YouTube early Saturday, he questions Vector's position in the Nigerian rap industry.

"See we rise by lifting others who you lifted?" M.I asks. "Nobody in all these years can say that Vector put em in position, you sinned against the order of heaven that's why God has brought you to me."

He also puts a twist on Vector's The Purge lyrics that shaded his height. "You called me short man at the Headies and I could have been real petty but my head is always heavy from the crown."

Listen to M.I Abaga's "The Viper" below.

"The Viper" is the first offering from the African hip hop veteran's new "Judah" project dropping Wednesday.
