Creative Weekly: Lil Nas X, Swae Lee, Big Boi, Redman, Seyi Shay & More

This week’s Creative Weekly features new songs and videos from the likes of Swae Lee, Lil Nas X, Redman and Big Boi. Because we can’t always get them all, these are some of the best new songs out this week that you may have missed. 

Lil Nas X Feat. DaBaby “Panini” Remix 

Lil Nas X taps DaBaby for a new version of Panini.

The original version of the track featured on Lil Nas X’s debut EP 7. The project featured appearances by Billy Ray Cyrus, Cardi B and more. 

DaBaby’s version is the first of many remixes (possibly 25) Nas X has planned for the track. Listen to “Panini” remix below which, comes with an accompanying video inspired by Chowder. 

Swae Lee Debuts “Sextasy” Video

Following the disappointing reception of “Won’t Be Late” featuring Drake, Swae Lee returns with a video for his other single Sextasy
“Sextasy” alongside “Won’t Be Late” is expected to appear on the Rae Sremmurd rapper’s upcoming sophomore solo album reportedly dropping in the coming weeks.

Video: Big Boi x Sleepy Brown Feat. Cee-Lo Green “Intentions” 

Big Boi and Sleepy Brown just announced a new collaborative project, “Big Sleepover” entirely produced by Organized Noise.  The duo get the campaign for the new album started with a video for Intentions featuring Cee-Lo Green. 
“We developed this sound together,” Sleepy Brown said in a statement. “We love that funk era, but also changing with the times. We wanted something upbeat and danceable, so we sped it up. I bring that smoothness, the butter on the popcorn.”
“Big Sleepover” is slated for release sometime next year.

Watch Redman’s Politically-Charged “Black Man In America” Video

Redman returns with a new song and video that touches on the everyday struggles of black men in America including altercations with the police, riots and vandalism. 
“Black Man In America” features Pressure. The accompanying video is directed by Redman himself.

Video: Seyi Shay Feat. Teyana Taylor “Gimme Love” Remix

Teyana Taylor joins Nigerian singer Seyi Shay on the remix to her island/Afrobeats inspired single “Gimme Love.” Produced by Sarz, “Gimme Love” is the first single from Seyi Shay’s highly anticipated forthcoming EP.

Video: Birdman x Juvenile Feat. Lil Wayne “Ride Dat” 

Last month, Birdman and Juvenile reunited with Lil Wayne for the single “Ride Dat.” On Friday (Sep. 13) the trio debuted a hazy video for the collaboration.
“Ride Dat” is the first time Birdman and Lil Wayne will be featuring together in a music video since the two started feuding over unpaid royalties in 2015. The collaboration serves as the first single off Birdman and Juvie’s upcoming sequel to the “Just Another Gangsta” album which dropped earlier this year.
