Nomad Carlos is the Grim reaper on his new single Leviathan Axe. While Farma Beatz lays down the production, Carlos sends a cheeky warning to the fake thugs. “In my days I put careers in power naps,” he raps over the haunting instrumental before adding “and I still can.”
For two minutes straight the Long-Island based MC offers slick bars paired with a nonchalant sense of humour. “I don’t know who got more sons, yo, Bob Marley or Roc Marci,” The Council member spits. “Kartel or Bounty, the church or the army / I’m a rare breed, half yankee, half yardie.”
“Leviathan Axe” is the first single from Nomad Carlos and Farma Beatz’s upcoming joint EP “Cipher.”
“I chose the title because of the references in my rhymes, influenced by Metal Gear Solid,” says Carlos via a press release. “And we also have our own talk, so it has a double meaning.”
Available for pre-order now on Bandcamp, “Cipher” will be available on all digital platforms on next month (May 13).
