Five Steez Addresses His Critics With New Single 'Work'

Produced by Mordecai.

Five Steez is tired of the disrespect and decides to bring the pain on his new single "Work." Over hypnotic piano keys laced by Mordecai, Steez talks directly to his detractors.

"You talk shit, I live it, what you dreamt of, I did it," he raps before later adding: "For years, i been doing this, and many others too / Repping the movement and running with the toughest crews / So pardon me if I ask who the fuck are you? / You such a fool, you move like a sucker do."

Despite the energy displayed, the Kingston native insists the track is not directed at anybody. "People ask who upset me. Some ask if it’s a diss song,” he explains. "But like Jay Z once said, ‘It’s not a diss song, it’s just a real song.’”

Work is the second single of his upcoming joint album with Mordecai Love N Art due early next year. Last month he released the project's first single "True Original" which you can listen to here.
