Kanye West Apologizes To Drake On Twitter

A day after a snippet of Drake allegedly dissing Kanye West on a soon to be released collaboration with French Montana surfaced online. The G.O.O.D. Music founder took to Twitter to apologize to the Toronto native for how he handled the situation surrounding their fallout and beef with Pusha-T.

"Let me start by apologizing for stepping on your release date in the first place," Kanye tweeted on Wednesday (Sept 5). "We were building a bond and working on music together including squashing the issues with Cudi at our office."

"We spoke about doing Lift Yourself together I should have given you the opportunity for us to do this together before I released it," he continued. "Since we were building as friends and brothers I should have spoken to Pusha about the Quentin Miller bar. There should have been no songs with my involvement that had any negative energy towards you."

Drake responded to Pusha-T's Infrared jab (which referenced Drake's ghostwriting past), with Duppy freestyle. He name-dropped Pusha T's fiancée Virginia Williams on the track, which in effect led to Push releasing The Story Of Adidon.

Kanye said he never listened to either diss track nor did he have a conversation with Pusha-T about Drake's child, despite wild allegations he may have provided the Santeria MC with the information. "I did not have any conversations about your child with Pusha. I don’t play with the idea of people’s children after I spoke to Wiz a few years earlier."

He ended the Twitter spree by saying, " I will be coming to your show within the next seven days to give love and be inspired by the art you have created."

Drake is yet to respond.
