Azealia Banks Shares New Feminist Anthem, "Movin' On Up"



Fresh off her $1 million record deal with Entertainment One. Slay-Z is now ready to move away from the negative energy that has seen her instigate beef with the likes of Nicki Minaj, Remy  Ma, Cardi B, Eminem, T.I, Beyoncé - i could go on forever.

The 212 rapper talks about not needing a man, living life and exploring her sexuality in her new single, "Movin' On Up." 

"All I want is to live in this world/Express my femininity/Be myself more and be free to explore my sexuality," she says on the song's bridge. "All the girls if you're feeling it/Find your peace, spread your wings, live your life/Don't let no one get in your way girl."


The collaboration featuring electro-dance duo, Newbody is available for streaming exclusively on Tidal. The song will appear on Banks' forthcoming Fantasea II, the sequel to her 2012 debut mixtape.

"Movin On Up" is now available for streaming via soundcloud.
