Jay Z Dedicates 'The Story Of O.J.' To Colin Kaepernick

Hov shows his support for Colin kaepernick by dedicating his 4:44 standout "The Story Of O.J." to the currently unsigned NFL player.

Friday night (September 15), during his headlining set at Meadows Music and Arts Festival in New York, the rap mogul honored the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback.

"I want to dedicate this song to Colin Kaepernick tonight,” Jay Z said.

According to ESPN, Jigga also dedicated the song to late comedian/activist Dick Gregory who died last month.

"I want to dedicate this song to anyone that was held back and you overcame.”

Kaepernick  put his football career on the line by choosing to kneel and sit, during the American national anthem last season as a means of protesting police brutality.

"I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color,” Kaepernick told NFL.com last year.
The outspoken football player terminated his contract with the San Francisco 49ers earlier this year and has remained unsigned ever since.
