Drake, Lebron James and Chris Bosh Talk Vince Carter's Legacy

Drake and Lebron James have been buddy-buddies since forever.

In a new promotional interview for The Carter Effect, a  newly released film based on the professional life of former Raptors star Vince Carter. Drake, Lebron James and former Toronto Raptor/Miami Heat player, Chris Bosh sit down to discuss the eight-time-All-Star's influence.

"Vince was that guy where you're like if he gets one dribble inside that three-point line, you better move," James said. "For a kid like myself who started to find his way with some athleticism, you looked at Vince like, 'Damn, I ain't gon be able to get to that point but if I could get half [or] three-fourths of it, then I'm doing something right.'"

Drake on the other hand, raved on about Vince's impact on Toronto's nightlife.

“When Vince was popping in the city, we had nightclubs that seemed larger than life. We had celebrities coming to our city and performing that would’ve never been here before. We had rappers and people from here that were acting like we were in New York,” Drake said. “People were driving different cars and starting businesses—he created a culture for us that we had only seen on television.”
The interview was also intended to create exposure for James' new production company, UNINTERRUPTED, which is responsible for producing "The Carter Effect."

"I tried to do whatever I could do to help the kid out and so he could be the best player he could be," James said at the Cleveland Cavaliers' media day. "I tried to give him everything, give him as much of my DNA as I could. As I said throughout [last] season, at some point when he was ready to take over the keys, I was ready to give them to him."
