YBA is a wake up call to POC.
Meek Mill channels all the attention he's getting from the safaree ruffle into his new video for "Young Black America" -- A song that negates the lifestyle the Philly rapper portrays to the public.
Throughout the incitful video, Meek is seen sharing some words of wisdom to a young black male about some of life's false gold.
"Young niggas brainwashed, they just wanna rap and hoop
Could’ve been a lawyer until they came and shackled you
Feel into the records so them jobs ain’t getting back at you."
His words get more provocative as the song plays on -- "They told us, if we go to jail, we would be respected/They told us, if we make a sale, we would run a check in."
The video ends with a Trump hate speech about black people living in poverty and having no jobs.
If this doesn't hit you deep as a black male (No matter where you're from) then you are, maybe in deepr than you think.
