DJ Khaled has managed to get just about every A-list rapper and R&B singer you can think of for his albums — with his tenth LP “Grateful” being his most star-studded yet.
The Miami DJ and father to Asahd is the king of landing high profile names for his projects but according to him, a verse from Eminem has always escaped his clutches. Speaking with BET, Khaled said it’s all about the right moment.
“I always wanted to work with Eminem,” he said. “It’s just about making it with the right time and the right record before I really step to him and present. I’m going to reach out to him hopefully soon, and hopefully we can do something.”
Dr. Dre is also a target and he hopes to work with him on one of his soon. “Shoutout to Dr. Dre as well,” he added “Dre, I’ve worked with him before but never on one of my albums, so hopefully I work with Dr. Dre as well. [He’s] a friend of mine, got nothing but love. I’m going to figure it out someway, somehow.”
Available everywhere, Grateful features appearances from Jay-Z, Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, Nas, Drake, Rihanna, Travis Scott, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross and more.
