Tupac's Estate Threatens To Sue If The Late Rapper's Handwritten Lyrics Get Auctioned

Tu-Pac's OG lyrics to Catching Feelings from his 2002 album Better Dayz could be yours for the "small fee" of $38, 500. The handwritten lyrics is being sold by a memorabilia company called Moments In Time.

The company's owner, Gary Timett says he got the lyrics from an ex-employee at the studio were Pac recorded the track back in 96. With September 13th marking the 20th anniversary of the rappers demise, he fells it's a perfect time to put it out for collectors to battle over.

So, if you're a Pac fan and you got some spare change lying around, you can send it to me or you could just give to him instead, which ever works.

Maybe the guy that splashed over $300k for the late rapper's hummer can splash the cash again.

UPDATE: Tupac's estate plans on blocking the sale because they see it as another attempt to take advantage of the late rapper's art. The estate claims managers and employees sold tons of Pac's property after his death but says it is the rightful owner of all his lyrics and written creations, because he never sold any of them.

Pac's estate says it has rewarded people who unknowingly get Tupac's stuff if they return it but says it is aggressively pursuing those that try to exploit the late rapper's memory.

Gary Zimet (Memory In Time Owner) thinks the estate has no claim and still plans on going ahead with the deal. Tuesday (13) marks the 20th anniversary of Pac's death so we'll see how the situation plays out.
